Amazon, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is conducting a voluntary recall of Amazon Basics Executive Office Chairs sold between September 2021 and April 2022. The chairs pose a potential fall hazard.

You can identify if your chair is affected by the recall by inspecting the underside of your office chair. Affected chairs have a small "rib" as seen in the photos below. Even if your chair was purchased during the timeframe mentioned above, it is not affected if it does not have this "rib."
